Timeframes
A standard session is 60 minutes (1 hour). Variations on the standard appointment time are available if you require a shorter or longer appointment. When booking your appointment with Rene discuss what sort of timeframe would suit your needs best.

Face-to-face vs. telehealth
You can attend your appointment face-to-face or via telehealth. If you're attending your appointment via telehealth you'll be emailed a link for the meeting prior to your appointment. If you're attending in person it is best to arrive shortly before your session time. Rene's waiting room is stocked with various tea and coffee which you can help yourself too while waiting.

Running late or cancelations
If you're running late for your appointment it is recommended you let Rene know (if possible). Running late means that you are not guaranteed the full 60 minutes as other appointments are likely booked after yours, and their allocated time cannot be infringed upon. Running early also does not guarantee your session will start early, for the same reason that someone else's time is equally important. If you need to cancel your appointment, it is best to let Rene know in writing (text or email) as soon as possible. If you are canceling within 48 hours of your appointment a fee will still be charged for your allocated time.

Other attendees
Some people chose to bring a support person to their appointments. This could be a professional support worker, friend, family member or partner. If you'd like this person to join you in your session they're welcome too. Support persons can also wait in the waiting room and help themselves to tea and coffee.

Pricing and payment
For NDIS participants the price is set out in the current NDIS Price Guide. After your session an invoice will be provided to yourself (if you're self-managed) or your plan manager (if you're plan-managed).
For privately paying clients the standard rate for a 60 minute session is $150.00 and an invoice will be emailed to yourself or your nominated person after your appointment.

For sessions which are not the standard 60 minutes, pricing will vary to reflect this so long as the duration of the session was agreed upon prior to the commencement of the appointment. If for any reason you're struggling to pay your invoice, please discuss with Rene and a payment plan can be arranged.
